Juan Jullian is an author and screenwriter. He created and wrote the horror series Reencarne for Globoplay, the feature film Ritmo de Natal, the first original movie from Estúdios Globo, watched by over 29 million Brazilians on TV Globo and ranked first among the most-watched content on Globoplay, and he also collaborated on Rosane Svartman’s telenovela Dona de Mim.

He holds a degree in International Relations with a focus on queer theory from PUC Rio and is a published author with Galera Record. His debut book, Querido Ex, spent over 100 days at number one in Amazon’s LGBT category, and its sequel, Maldito Ex, debuted on Revista Veja’s bestseller list. His latest book, Viralizou, co-written with Igor Verde, reached the top of Amazon’s LGBT category, has sold and been downloaded in over 14,000 copies, and was a finalist for the 2023 Prêmio Jabuti in the Entertainment Romance category. Collectively, his works have sold over 50,000 copies.

Juan also served as curator for the FRAPA screenplay competition in 2022 and 2023, wrote the web series Galera a Bordo for Grupo Editorial Record, and has series and film projects acquired by production companies such as Boutique Filmes, Sentimental Filmes, and Beija-Flor Filmes.
