Julia Éqüi is a director of photography with 25 years of experience and extensive leadership expertise in streaming series. She was the cinematographer for both seasons of Turma da Mônica – A Série (Globoplay), the second season of As Five (Globoplay), Histórias (Im)possíveis (Globoplay), Temporada de Verão (Netflix), A História Delas (Disney+), among others. With an award-winning career, she won Best Cinematography at the Septimius Awards in Amsterdam for the series Olhar Indiscreto (Netflix), as well as the ABC Award for Best Cinematography in a Feature Documentary for the film Apenas Meninas (HBO).

She is currently directing and serving as cinematographer on a documentary with the production company Sentimental, now in post-production, and is also completing a feature film with Galeria. Julia is a recognized member of the Brazilian Collective of Women Directors of Photography (DAFB) and the Brazilian Society of Cinematography (ABC).
