Mariana is a screenwriter and author with extensive experience in dramaturgy and melodrama. She has written for notable projects such as the telenovela Beleza Fatal (Warner/HBO Max) and the third season of the Netflix hit series Bom Dia, Verônica.
For streaming platforms, she adapted the Brazilian bestseller Véspera by Carla Madeira for the screen, alongside Angela Chaves, with Boutique Filmes, and participated in the writers’ room of Os Donos do Jogo, a Netflix series in its finalization phase with Paranoid.
During her long tenure at TV Globo, she wrote series and miniseries including Maysa (Emmy International–nominated), Os Dias Eram Assim, Ilha de Ferro, and the telenovelas Quanto Mais Vida, Melhor and Em Família. She also authored the teen romantic comedy Não Se Apega, Não for the network.
She is currently serving as head writer on an original family drama series for Warner. As an author, she has published Danem-se os Normais (Leya), Autores: Histórias da Teledramaturgia (Globo), and Isto Não é um Poema, Mas Parece (Urutau).
