Rafael Martinelli studied film at FAAP, graduating in 2007. He worked as an assistant to photographer Bob Wolfenson from 2005 to 2009 and began his career as a cinematographer at MTV. He has collaborated with directors at major production companies such as Gullane, O2, Boutique, and Afroreggae on numerous TV series, films, and documentaries, including notable projects like 3%, Sintonia, and Irmandade.

Experienced in cinematography for action series and films, he recently completed the fourth season of Arcanjo Renegado, a hit on Globoplay. He is currently serving as director of photography on Carol Fioratti’s new feature, produced by Glaz.
