Roberta Richard

Direção

Roberta is a director with 35 years of experience in television. She has worked on 15 telenovelas for Rede Globo, directing nine of them, entering the field at the invitation of Roberto Talma. At the network, she has contributed to hits such as Império, A Força do Querer, and her most recent work, the remake of Pantanal.

In series, she was part of the directing team for both seasons of Ilha de Ferro, a project that allowed her to showcase her expertise in directing intimate scenes, a hallmark of her working style. Her career is internationally recognized, with nominations and awards at the International Emmy Awards, including Sinhá Moça (2005, nominated) and Império (2014, winner), both under the artistic direction of Rogério Gomes, and more recently Pantanal (2023, nominated).

Roberta has extensive knowledge of dramaturgy, and her work across diverse projects has honed her management skills and ability to quickly solve the challenges inherent in audiovisual production. Recently, she directed telenovelas in the new vertical format, including Encontrei um Marido Bilionário and Sem-Teto para o Natal, which has surpassed 180 million views on ReelShort, as well as Uma Babá Milionária and Icônica: de Faxineira à Fashionista, productions by Formata for Globoplay.
