Screenwriter and director for film and television, Rodrigo wrote, directed, produced, and edited the thriller Lacuna, a Globoplay exclusive feature film. He developed and wrote the suspense series Vale dos Esquecidos (Valley of the Forgotten, HBO). He created, developed, and wrote all three seasons of the series Questão de Família (Family Matters, GNT), and collaborated on the screenplay for the feature film Em Nome da Lei (Above the Law, FOX), both directed by acclaimed filmmaker Sérgio Rezende.

He served as head writer on the mystery series Últimas Férias (The Last Vacation, Star+) and, alongside renowned filmmaker Cacá Diegues, co-wrote the upcoming feature Deus Ainda é Brasileiro (God Is Still Brazilian, Sony). He also created the action series O Doutrinador (The Awakener) and wrote the final screenplay for the feature film adaptation based on the graphic novel. Most recently, he co-wrote the major Amazon feature production Corrida dos Bichos (Animal Race) with Ernesto Solis, under the overall direction of Fernando Meirelles.

Rodrigo also participated in the development of Bruno Mazzeo's series Filhos da Pátria (Children of the Homeland) for TV Globo and has developed several exclusive, as-yet-unreleased narrative projects as head writer, including a biographical series about a famous Brazilian band from the 1970s for Globoplay, a dystopian feature film for Warner, and other projects for Turner and Disney. He is currently completing work in the writers' room of a thriller series for Disney.

Making his debut as a director and producer with the short film 702, Rodrigo was selected for numerous film festivals and received awards for Best Screenplay at the Bucharest ShortCut Cinefest, as well as Best Director and Audience Award at TMFF Glasgow, UK. His short films Roommate, Lapso, and Reminiscente have also earned international recognition and awards.
